PoE Switch Compatibility
The Ubiquiti Instant 802.3af Outdoor adapter works seamlessly with many 802.3af switches. This makes it possible to remotely restart the equipment via the switch.
Ubiquiti Compatibility
The adapter can work with most Ubiquiti PoE devices that have a 1Gb LAN port.
Longer cables
The higher voltage (up to the adapter) allows the maximum cable distance to be extended. For example, the cable length of 24V max is 50 meters and 48V max 100 meters.
Electrostatic discharge
The converter provides additional built-in protection that reduces the risk of electrostatic discharge and damage to active components.
