UBNT FiberPOE is an inexpensive, gigabit opto-metal outdoor converter that can also supply power via PoE in addition to transferring data from a fiber optic cable to a metal cable. Compared to the first generation, this model can handle a wider temperature range (-40 to 60°C).
FiberPOE features two Ethernet ports, one SFP slot, and a DC connector. There are three power supply options: the first is via the DC connector, and the second and third via the RJ45 ports. The converter can be powered via the first or second Ethernet port, but only one can transmit data + PoE at a time. All three options operate within a voltage range of 16 to 50V DC.
