The comprehensive high-performance SOHO router with 2.5 Gbps throughput and added memory for running LXC containers with custom software is the ultimate CPE device or management interface for high VPN throughput, combining multiple independent connectivity or applying custom software.

The Turris Omnia 4G is also complemented by a cat6 LTE modem with download speeds of up to 300 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps.

Extensibility

You can run your own Linux distribution on the Omnia via eMMC and avoid RAM overhead. The Omnia can also be expanded with WiFi thanks to 2x mini PCIe slots, where one of the slots can also function as mSATA. There are also 2x USB 3.0 which provide the option for additional storage, limited only by the capacity of the USB drive.

Openness

Omnia uses an operating system based on OpenWrt. With extensive documentation, regular updates and development, the software can be customized as desired.

Automatic updates

Unlike most other routers, the Turris Omnia receives automatic system updates throughout its lifespan. This way your home is also protected against new cyber threats.

Distributed adaptive firewall

All Sentinel firewall devices worldwide register and respond in real time to attacks on one of the devices and, after assessing the threat, send an update within 2 minutes to the other devices, which are no longer identified thanks to the attacker's response as a threat and will not allow the attacker to compromise the operation of the device or attack/overwhelm it in any way.

Easy configuration with snapshots and USB flash

The snapshots during configuration feature allows you to perform a new configuration "from scratch" and easily return to the original saved configuration if necessary. In contrast, a configuration uploaded via USB allows for easy deployment in the field and remote configuration from the office or home.
