The DIGITUS® IP55 Outdoor wall enclosures were manufactured for industrial applications. With protection against water and dust according to protection class IP55.

• Protected against dust in harmful quantities and water jets (IP 55).

The wall-mounted industrial network cabinets are specially adapted to the requirements for harsh conditions, especially outdoors, in accordance with protection degree IP55. The wall enclosures deliver optimal performance, partly thanks to the three-point locking system with lockable swivel handle and insulated PG cable glands. Integrated housings of the ventilation filters ensure a supply of fresh air (protection against ingress of water and dust according to IP54). The housings can, for example, be used in outdoor areas that are exposed to environmental influences (rain, dust, hail, snow, splash water). To provide space for a fan module, the roof plate is also equipped with a filtered section.

A pair (for enclosures from 600 m deep, two pairs) of galvanized 483 mm (19") profile rails, labeled with height units readable in both directions, are provided on the inside. They are depth adjustable. Each enclosure has a robust steel construction made of sheet steel up to a maximum of 2.0 mm thick. The color is applied with an electrostatic powder coating in the standard color gray (RAL 7035). Wall mounting is done using the supplied corner brackets. Optionally, the cabinets with a pedestal can be used as free-standing solution or attached to posts using a mounting set.
