Optical Fiber Cable Air1 is a high quality micro CLT cable. The optical fibers are placed in a gel-filled central loose tube. The central loose tube is covered with aramid yarn, which is the main strength element. The outer sheath is UV stable and made of high quality polyethylene (HDPE) material, which ensures easy and smooth blowing of the cable. All types of Masterlan Air1 (2 - 12 fibers) have a diameter of 2.8 mm, which allows them to be used with microtubes of up to 3.5 mm in diameter.
This cable is made of Corning optical fibers (G.657.A1), which are among the best in the world today. We strongly recommend that you use this optical cable only for blowing the cable. All details can be found in the datasheet.
The FAiR8SMmb optical cable is sold per meter and is available in black.
