Product description

The EAP230-Wall is an access point that can be mounted directly to the wall on a plastic box with a hole spacing of 60mm. Equipped with the latest 802.11ac MU-MIMO technology, it easily achieves speeds of up to 866 + 300 Mbps for multiple devices simultaneously on a dual-band Wi-Fi network. The device has four built-in antennas (2x 4dBi + 2x 3.6dBi) and a pair of Gigabit LAN ports (one input with PoE IN power on the back, the other only data on the front).

The easy way to centralized management

You can easily manage and monitor hundreds of EAP access points - all in one place. TP-Link Omada Controller software offers an intuitive interface for controlling the entire network. Keep the entire network and its mapping under control from any computer connected to the network. There are no additional costs, nor is there any need for special training. Managing a corporate Wi-Fi network has never been so efficient and cost-effective.

Effective guest authentication with support for Facebook and SMS logins

The Adaptive Portal ensures that the network can only be used by authorized users, whose devices have a clear and easy-to-use way to log into Wi-Fi. The login now supports authentication via SMS or Facebook, making the captive portal feature even easier and expanding access to your business activities.

Power supply via PoE

The EAP230-Wall access point only supports input power through the LAN port on the back of the device using the 802.3af/at standard with a maximum power consumption of 7W, so it can be powered by a PoE switch or a separate PoE adapter.

The installation of the device is therefore flexible and very simple.
